Council Newsletters
From the Grand Knight

With the month of September gone we look forward to the month of October. First I would like to thank all brother Knights who help out with the Joe Borja fund raiser. What better way to show unity and charity than to help out a brother Knight in need. Again thank you for your time and dedication.

The first event in October is the Past Grand Knights Banquet, which will be on Oct 6, 2007 at the Air National Guard Base in Portland. Gene Mesa the Deputy GK has tickets should you wish to attend this event, $16.00 per person. Next is the Ladies Aux. trip to the coast on Oct. 13th, bus leaves at 7:30am. There is limited seating (45) so if you are planning to go contact Mary Ann Blessinger at 360-694-0717 for further details. On 21 Oct. we will have our first Breakfast of the year. I ask all brother Knights to work at least one or as many breakfasts you can. If you are an early riser you can help with set up. For those that like playing in water we could use you in the back wash- ing dishes, or busing tables. Again make it a point to work at any of the breakfasts. Remember, all money raised helps

Council NewslettersFrom the Desk of the Grand Knight

April was a fairly light month for the Knights. The only event was the annual Easter egg hunt. !! A big thanks goes out to all my Brother Knights and their Families who made these events sucessful. Special thanks goes to Nicole Lagana who made sure the eggs were done in time.

The month of May is jammed packed, State Convention, monthly breakfast, hosting two first Communion receptions just to name a few. Almost every weekend in the month of May is booked with some type of event. Please see Monthly event calendar.

Vivat Jesus,

Johnnie v Lagana
Grand Knight

Council NewslettersFrom the Desk of the Grand Knight

The month of January was successful for Council 4782. We held our first blood drive of the year and collected over 40 pints of blood. The Council Free and District Throw competition this year was held at St Joe’s gym and sponsored 15 contestants all from St Joe’s. Again it is unfortunate that other councils did not participate, because the winners from the Council Free Throw all moved into the medal round at the District Level and now move on to the next round.

. Our breakfast was successful, Thanks to all members and their families who helped that day. It’s hard to believe that we are already into the second half of this fraternal year, where did the time go? We have accomplished a lot for our church and community and ourselves, and the next six months are just as jammed packed with more activities. I want to thank all of you who have made this a reality. Please review the up coming events both in this news’s letter and or the K of C web site and Sunday Bulletin.

Vivat Jesus,
Johnnie Lagana,
